He has often made you laugh with his comic roles on various occasions. Rakesh Bedi, the man who can always make you burst out with laughter has changed his on-screen style. ‘Mr. Dilruba’ of ‘Shrimaan Shrimati’ will now entertain you all with his new appearance in ‘Subh Vivah’.
Rakesh has till now played comic roles and this will be the very first time that he will be playing a serious role. The actor was approached by the makers of ‘Subh Vivah’ and Rakesh had agreed to act in the daily soap.
On being asked about the new role, Rakesh said that it was the first time in 35 long years of his career that he has opted for an emotional role and he was looking forward to it. Rakesh had always tried to master different trades and now when he got a chance he would be doing justice to it.
Rakesh Bedi will be essaying the character of a father to five-grown up daughters. Another interesting project that the actor has been handling is a play Massage where he is playing 24 various characters. Rakesh Bedi has alos undertaken a venture titled ‘Hai Rabba Main Kya Karoon’ which will be produced by Ramanand Sagar starring ace actor Arshad Warsi.
It is surely going to be a big test for the veteran to shape himself into the character and suit a emotion packed melodrama.
